I bought 2 of these to use when I have my front door open. I put one on each side to hold the door open. We get a good breeze coming through and the regular wedge shaped stoppers do not hold the door. These weigh enough that they hold well. The rubber edges keep the metal from damaging the door. I read some reviews that the rubber around the stopper comes off easily, but I don¡¯t find that to be a problem. They haven¡¯t come off, and I pick them up where the rubber gets grabbed. These are nice to look at when in use. They add to instead of taking away from the decor when in use. I think we should get many years of good use from these. We also put another one in the bathroom because the door doesn¡¯t stay all the way open by itself. This works well for that too. The wedge ones are too thick to get under the door and are too light to hold. This just sits against it.

It came very damaged and dented. It works great but it looks bad. The packaging could have been a lot better. This is a larger size item for a small bathroom so the condition is important. Works great.

Put this by the door from the garage into the house. It¡¯s heavy and well made. Keeps the door from bumping into the wall and it¡¯s sleek looking.

This looks nice but it doesn’t do much to stop the door. You really can’t even feel when the door hits it.

Mine came dented. Isn’t heavy enough for my door. My door is steel and my entrance is marble tiled, just to be fair. I think if this was about 2 pounds heavier it would work.
