This blade worked great for cutting extra large format (24¡± x 48¡±) porcelain tile. I used a ryobi cordless angle grinder and a little bit of water with a sponge. This tile tended to chip easily with the Makita 4100kb tile saw I was using and the stock blade it came with. I also used a straight edge with this saw to make sure my cuts were straight.Once I switched to this blade and the angle grinder and got comfortable, it made easy work of cutting the tile free hand. And there was less chipping overall when taking multiple passes (light cut to start) and keeping the blade perpendicular to the material. The blade also worked well for grinding material off of edges that required some extra material removal.

works really good

I¡¯m very glad that I did. After 50 or so cuts on 8¡± tile the edges are still very good. I tape the face of the tile with duct tape and that seems to help maintain a good cut. I have another 30 or so cuts so I may have to purchase another blade but it Is worth it when the finished job looks straight and clean.

Give it a 4-star as it served me well and I don¡¯t have anything else to compare to.

Used to cut porcelain tile. No complaints with this blade.

Really nice cuts in every type of tile. If you’re using a grinder you still have to have a steady hand and use water or a wet sponge to get the best cuts. We use these all the time at work for shower and floor installs and after buying the name brand $60 blades these guys do really hold up against the best. They last us a few jobs but we also make most of our big cuts with a manual tile cutter so these are usually only used for outlet cutouts, notching and miters.A steady hand, wet sponge and a set of tile polishing pads and you can get a really nice product.

replace a used blade. Both wide diamond sides makes process easiler.
