So far I like these door stoppers and as with any door stopper they will leave marks but if you apply rubber feet to protect your wood work and doors as suggested in another review it will eliminate the problem. The multi pack is a good value if you have several doors that need them. fyi I also use the protective plastic adhesive discs on the wall behind the door knobs as a precaution. Rubber feet B07V2DSPR5

These work as advertised. I have noticed they do dent up the door trim almost immediately as some other reviews have said, but I’ll take that over a knob hole in the drywall any day.
