Removable Protective Plastic Pads
The clamps feature removable protective plastic pads that prevent any marking on finished projects. These pads can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the set also comes with a spare set of pads.
High-Leg Style
The high-leg style of these pipe clamps ensures that they sit securely and squarely off your workbench at a comfortable height, making clamping workpieces together a whole lot simpler.
Smooth Wood Clamp Handle
The smooth wood clamp handle is designed for easy turning. The screw section fits onto the threaded end of the 3/4 inch pipe, while another section slides along the pipe to match the size of the project.
Ideal for Longer Projects
If you need longer clamps for your woodworking projects, these pipe clamps are a great choice. However, you will need to acquire your own bars separately. A good tip is to buy longer pipes and cut them into sections instead of buying the exact length you need.
Conclusion
In conclusion, these pipe clamps are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable and heavy-duty solution for their woodworking projects. The removable protective plastic pads, high-leg style, and smooth wood clamp handle make them easy and convenient to use, while the option to customize the length of the pipe makes them versatile and practical.

I’ve used a few other brands of pipe clamps, but these Bessey clamps are the best. They slide easily on the pipe and clamp tightly. You can easily bend the 1/2″ pipe with these clamps if you crank them down on the work piece (hint: don’t do that). The feet on the back are good for holding your work off the bench and the rubber guards are perfect.

These clamps work very well. Tall and wide feet, screw on end as apposed to some others I have seen which simply slide on like the movable half, and the adjustable half gets really tight on the pipe with no slipping whatsoever (yet) after 1 year of moderate use.

I enjoy woodworking. I’m not some Bob Vila- have a shed the size of Walmart shop. Nor do you I a designated work area. I have a garage, a two car garage with you guessed it- 2 cars. I don’t have much room at all and these clamps are awesome as it’s as long of clamp depending on how long the pipe is. I ended up buying a 6 foot long black iron pipe and works really well as the legs on the clamps lift the project off the ground. I bought 2 sets of these, because I’ve never only used one clamp for anything. And I’m planning on buying more. Clamp it up! O yeah, these clamp very tight and hold.

Most the negative complaints on here are either out of complete ignorance on how to use the clamps or people thinking they can put a 1000 pounds of force on the clamps. Realize what your buying and how it is meant to be used and you will have no problems. I own 8 of them and never had a single issue with any. Buy with confidence and don’t let the inability of other to use a clamp deter from making this purchase.UPDATE: I now own 16 of them. Haven’t had a single issue with any of them.

These are a fantastic alternative to traditional clamps. I got these pipe clamps as I do not have any long clamps, and for around $10 I can go to the local hardware store and buy a pipe of whatever length I need for my particular project. Shopping around, I could see there were many clamp sets with varying lengths and long clamps which were fairly expensive. Only needing 4 clamps max for any particular project, I have no need to own a dozen different clamps (not to mention that many of these sets are several hundred dollars). Instead, I got a pair of these, and then went down to the hardware store and bought pipes of different sizes.Pros:* Powder coated paint will hold up* Smooth rotation on the clamp* Incredibly cheap compared to alternativesCons:* Zinc clutch components seem to float around quite a bit making (does not affect use once pipe is installed, minor complaint)* Zinc clutch could also grip the pipe with a little more force* Plastic jaw caps could be higher quality and grip onto the jaw better (these slip around and I have to keep sliding them back into place; maybe a little more rubber in the mix?)Overall, these are great. While I am not 100% happy with the jaw caps, I am giving this five stars because the low cost more than makes up for this problem. For around a quarter of the cost of a clamp set, I have all of the clamp sizes I will ever need. I have already used for two projects and they have worked perfectly.
