Removable Protective Plastic Pads

The clamps feature removable protective plastic pads that prevent any marking on finished projects. These pads can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the set also comes with a spare set of pads.

High-Leg Style

The high-leg style of these pipe clamps ensures that they sit securely and squarely off your workbench at a comfortable height, making clamping workpieces together a whole lot simpler.

Smooth Wood Clamp Handle

The smooth wood clamp handle is designed for easy turning. The screw section fits onto the threaded end of the 3/4 inch pipe, while another section slides along the pipe to match the size of the project.

Ideal for Longer Projects

If you need longer clamps for your woodworking projects, these pipe clamps are a great choice. However, you will need to acquire your own bars separately. A good tip is to buy longer pipes and cut them into sections instead of buying the exact length you need.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these pipe clamps are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable and heavy-duty solution for their woodworking projects. The removable protective plastic pads, high-leg style, and smooth wood clamp handle make them easy and convenient to use, while the option to customize the length of the pipe makes them versatile and practical.

My one complaint is the black pads can fall off. Otherwise I have used with galvanized pipe and black pipe, I think the black which is recommended anyway works better, I haven¡¯t measured but I¡¯m guessing the diameter of the pipe might be different, the galvanized seems tighter. Clamps themselves worked great.

Great product. Purchased pipes from the bug stores and have had no issues.

  3. Olivia

Work great for edge gluing. Feet allow for flattening clamps to be used. Good quality for the price.

  4. Farmer

    Very good product and service

  5. Bonnie

Awesome awesome awesome. These are fantastic. Just a word of warning Don¡¯t try to be clever and use stainless pipe. It is just under the od of the GALV. Other than that mega clamps for minimal money¡¯s.

There are several points that make these the best pipe clamps available today:The fit and finish is superb. Just feels like a good, solid tool whne you are holding it.The screw is an acme thread, so fewer turns to run from one extreme to the other on the clamp. Great for “resetting” the clamp face.Comes with rubber pads to not mar your work.Does have nice tall feet, but really this might be my biggest complaint about the clamps is that if you have a large/heavy bit of work on the clamps they are a little prone to falling over. Likely if they were much wider my complaint would be that the feet are too wide so I’m pretty happy with this at the end of the day, just a note.Anyway, some might argue that you should step up to a 3/4 inch pipe clamp for more rigidity but I have glued up workbench tops with these (30″ wide, 3″ tall laminated top) and didn’t have issues so I think I’m good with the cheaper pipes and clamps.

I like the clamps but can’t rate them a 5 because they will not stay in place when turning the handle. It could be because I have 3/4″ clamps with feet that I bought at Harbor Freight less than I paid for these but they do work after you patiently get them to tighten up. Being Bessey I thought they are not what I expected. I tried spraying the crank threads with silicone dry spray lube and it did not solve all the problem.

Essential tool for gluing up panels. I had old ones with no feet that worked well. The feet are a great addition. Sometimes the release mechanism sticks probably from digging into the pipe when tightened. 1/2¡± pipes are plenty big – I rarely use my 3/4¡± clamps.

These are really high quality and barely more expensive than the cheap options. They¡¯re also a lot less expensive than fancy parallel clamps. I love the feet it¡¯s a great feature for glue ups. I bought long galvanized pipes at the home center and had them cut to the length I wanted. I also made sure they always threaded at least one end for me. Lowes or Home Depot will cut and thread the pipes for free as long as you aren¡¯t doing too many. Buying long pipe and having them cut it into smaller sections comes out much cheaper than buying separate pipes for each clamp. Once you get to really long pipes I would recommend moving up to the 3/4¡± clamps. I use 1/2¡± pipe and clamps for anything 60¡± or less because it¡¯s cheaper, lighter, and easier to manage. However once you start getting much longer than that you might get some flex in the 1/2¡± pipes.

The clamps are strong and the feet on the back offer good elevation from the ground when clamping from the ground.
