I like using flat plastic shims that are made for spacing floating floors away from walls. … And the screws? It is always best to use your own screws. These are exactly what you want, except for the mounting hardware! Of the four boxes I bought, only one had the right number of screws (2 per bracket) to hold up 4 brackets. The others were missing 2-3 per box, and I have to go to the store and buy black screws to supplement them.

I am so very pleased with these shelf brackets! The company deserves praise for this product and the careful design and the way they put such care and thought into this product. They even included a small level to make sure the installation is done correctly. Actually, it was a breeze to install these industrial strength brackets. There may be cheaper ones out there, but these were worth the money. I recommend them to anyone looking for quality brackets for their shelves.

I usually have my brackets made at a fab shop. Limestone is very heavy. I ordered these and they worked perfectly. Very strong. Zero flex. Even with 150 lbs of limestone on them.

The description was accurate relating to the proper-fitting boards that work with these brackets.Install was a little tricky as the screws that come with this, strip easily. The black coating of the screw came off and I used a sharpie to color back in.Overall, for the price and ease of finding these online, IЃfd purchase again.

Fasteners came with them. I was installing over ceramic tile and wasnЃft sure I was going to hit a stud so had purchased heavy duty toggle bolts to use in place of the provided fasteners. The only problem was the screw holes in the metal brackets were a bit wee for the new toggle bolt screws to fit. I modified installation by drilling a bigger hole in the tile and then using the provided fasteners into the Sheetrock behind. I didnЃft want to make another trip to the store so if this installation fails, thatЃfs on me!!
