Wall anchors where not very stable and defective! Went to hardware store for better anchors! Once better anchors where placed in wall product is great!

I recently had knee surgery and needed a more secure area until I’m up and moving around again. We installed one at the toilet that has made a huge difference to keeping some privacy during the recovery, also installed one at the outside door to maneuver down the 2 steps to level ground.Life would be so much more difficult if I didn’t have the options of the grab bars and the small price paid is well worth it. I will be removing them once I’m healed and keep for another time but enjoying them now.

The Grab Bar is pretty decent and sturdy for the price. Installation was OK if you follow the Online Instructions. Please beware, thanks to another review, the provided anchors are really bad. I used another set of 1/4 wall anchors and screws.

Appears to be a excellent quality grab bar. But, in order to be installed correctly and safe. It must be anchored in the wall. The screws they provided were rather small for this application. I would, which I did replace the enclosed screws with stronger more “grabbing” power when used in Drywall/sheetrock.

These bars will do an average job. Meaning that these bars should not be used in commercial or harsh conditions. For an average sized person they should be OK. I was expecting thicker metal parts. IЃfm going to use my own mounting anchors rather than those provided ( my opinion my anchors are better ). I added clear silicone between the bar and the mounting plate to try to prevent water entering the tube itself. If you do not use provided screws, be sure to use stainless steel non-rusting screws. The tube is about the size of a one inch conduit. IЃfm going to try these but I was hoping for a little tougher bar. IЃfll just call these Ѓgpar for the courseЃh. I believe the Ѓgstainless steelЃh is just plating. Be careful not the ЃgnickЃh the tube finishing while installing this. If so, it will start to rust like the first set I returned. Second set for now is still ok. I bought replacement stainless steel screws at L**weЃfs and I did not use supplied screws.
