This works great for our laundry room door. You can adjust the tension as hard or as light as you want. We have a laundry room that we also use as a place for our cat litter. Our cat is able to push open the door, then enter back in the room by using his paw to prompt open the door. In other words, we’ve adjusted the tension so that the door doesn’t fully close, allowing the door to be opened a crack at all times.Keep in mind that you only get one of these in the box, but that’s all you need. Just replace one of your door hinges with this, adjust the tension, then you’re good to go.
