Came with detailed instructions which isn’t always the case with some vendors. Easy install, hinge tension (brake) is easily adjustable, works good.

I bought these to hold the lid open on a toybox I built for my soon to arrive little girl. As lid stays, I can’t find any fault with these. Open the lid, and these will keep it up until you want it shut. The “soft close” part in the description may be a bit misleading. Have been unable to find a spot on the tension adjust (resistance adjust? Would have to pull it apart to see what is happening inside) where the lid will soft close. They’re almost tightened all the way, and the lid still his a point where it just freefalls for about 8 inches. It’s not a heavy lid, and I figured I would only need one of them. Looking back, I still only needed one, as adding the second one didn’t change the closing strength at all.

I purchased these hinges for my travel trailer to support the upper cabinets that have the cabinet doors open upward with no way to keep them open. I looked at options as far as small struts or magnets and feel these would work best based on aesthetics (no magnets on the ceiling), how they mount and that they stay open in any position. I had a little issue figuring out the mounting configuration and after getting the first one installed it was easy from there. Sorry no pics. They work great!

I bought a pair of these hinges for two small overhead cabinets in my 1964 vintage trailer. It works perfectly. There were no instructions included other than what was printed on the plastic bag that the hinges came in which was not helpful for me. However, a You Tube video provided the information that I needed, and installation was easy thereafter. One hinge was sufficient for each door. I have given it five stars, because once I figured out from the You Tube video how to put the pieces together, installation was a breeze. I’m very happy with them.
