I have used these on two toy boxes and they work pretty good. My only concern is that they drop the lid when it¡¯s about 80% down. I put a rubber spacer on the lids so as to not squish little fingers.

It was not a snug fit. Even with the plastic grommet the screw is to long and does keep it tight.

leaving something to be desired is an understatement. Thankfully, there is youtube. Once I figured out how to attach the bolts with the rubber washers to the hinge itself, it was pretty easy to install, but it would’ve been nice to have some grammatically correct instructions that actually made sense. I only had to use one hinge for my enclosed litter box for the kitties. The hing is very sturdy and works really smoothly. Really nice purchase once you figure out the assembly/install.

I wish they came in black or bronze, I hate chrome finishings, they look so cheap, and I’m afraid spray painting it will make it not work well with the bearings if any paint gets inside.

It’s easy to adjust the closing tension with the supplied Allen wrench. Used one on a small cupboard door and works quite well.

So far the hinges are working well, but installation was a puzzle. Good instructions not included so you had to figure it out on your own. Seem to be well made and hoping they will continue to do the job
