Needed a taller doorstop for the new front door. Looked at several and none caught my eye until I saw this one. Checked out the measurements and ordered it. The construction is sturdy. The height is perfect for this door and the rubber (probably manmade material) that actually comes in contact with the door does not leave any marks. Simple to install, even on hardwood. Very glad I searched for the ‘right’ one.

WORKED GREAT IN BABTROOM

After installing several half moon stops, ordered this stop. Used to stop a glass and metal frame storefront door. I was told wind was catching the door and the swing snapping the door stops. Note: door has a closer. Anyway this snapped after about a week. Also this comes with plastic dollies to mount. They did not hold at all so I used tapcon 3¡± screws. The 2nd one that I received I moved it back about 1/2¡± to give closer more time to absorb swing. Jury is out on how long this will last
