My box, like others, was broken on arrival. This isn’t a big deal since everything was individually wrapped, but it was clear the box is too small for all of the hardware.

For a large collection of tiny parts, it is much appreciated when they are not all mixed and out of their container upon receipt. Each size came in its own teeny zip-lock bag ¡ª with sizes in 1-2mm increments I can hardly imagine the hassle of hand-sorting a spilled box. The box itself is not top-line, but sturdy enough I think it will actually be useful. Maybe with a rubber band for security.The screws are also nice. I don’t know whether there is anything non-standard about these functional, fine-thread machine screws. For those (like me) not familiar with metric sizes: these are smaller than #6 SAE screws; the button-head bolts take a 2mm Allen key; the nuts take a 5.5mm hex wrench/socket. Not sure about the thread specs ¡ª the nuts have a small but perceptible amount of wiggle on the screws.I couldn’t say what “304 Stainless steel with rust resistant galvanized finish” is supposed to mean. Parts have the color and appearance of SS with no applied finish. They are slightly magnetic.If intended for use as bolts, note that the collection is way short on nuts and flat washers; if intended for use in electronics, note that there are no toothed washers included; there are no locking washers of any kind in the set. I would drop a star for the inconvenience of filling out the set if that’s what I had in mind. I’m fine with the way they came since I got them for mixed odd jobs, repairs, and one-offs.

Everything came exactly as pictured. Each size was individually bagged so the screws didn¡¯t get mixed up during shipping. Just what I needed for my RC truck.

I like the molded compartments. There are some dividers (four) that can be used to split the rear row of compartments. What I would like to see is a better lid snap. The snap on the box doesn’t close securely, a bit loose, but then again, there are always rubber bands that can be used to ensure the lid stays on?

Expecting hardware in plastic divider containers to arrive all mixed, I was pleasantly surprised to receive this kit was what I needed ready to use. And the tweezers are a nice touch, came in handy on the hard to get to nut in the attached picture of a battery box build.

These are probably some of the best screws that I have purchased and I like that they all come neatly organized and it gives you a multitude of things that you can utilize them for. I do recommend being careful when utilizing a screwdriver or a drill because they do strip if you tighten too much.
