I used these brackets for a floating desk. They are installed with the short side on the wall/flat, and the long side supporting the surface, which was the opposite of what I had anticipated. The install hardware is impossible to use, so I ended up buying different hardware. Also, they were slightly marred/scratched, so this is something to be aware of if you are using them in a highly visible area.

These are the most industrial brackets I have ever purchased!!! they are rock solid… love em…but remember, to support this much weight, the wood will prob. sag, so you need to place many of them to prevent sag…so not sure the value of holding this much weight… as the price is quite high…that would be OK, if two could support a 4ft shelf, but unless its 2-3″ thick hardwood, or you dont put anything heavy on it, the wood will sag… so use more for the clean industrial look, with nice finish, its worth it just for that alone…I had to deduct one star for price only….

We recently moved and the new house had a kitchen counter overhang with wooden support brackets. They were bulky and not our taste. We found these brackets which are our taste. They ship with concrete/stone compression bolts which would not work in our installation. We substituted lag bolts for the wall and sheet metal screws under the counter overhang. We then painted them the same color as the wall and they nearly disappear.

I read the few reviews available for these brackets. The response was not the best. However, I took a chance. Contrary to the other reviews I am impressed with the craftsmanship. Both brackets are a true 90 degrees. Although i did not use them to support a stone counter top, I did use them to creat a floating desk. 10/10.

These are super solid. I do not see these braces bending – ever! However, perhaps some lag bolts would be the preferred install, but I can work with what came in the packaging. Worst-case-scenario, I have to run to Lowe’s and spend a couple dollars more for some different bolts. I have not found a more steady brace. Both braces were at 90 degrees, and the welds are secured. Previous reviews had issues with this, but maybe they listened and improved their QC. These will work perfect; definitely capable of handling heavy loads.

I used them to make these shelves! They are holding a couple hundred pounds and are so sturdy! I originally bought others that claimed to hold the same weight but returned them because they were flexing.
