We purchased this to put on the bottom of some IKEA shelves so that we could easily move them around. The legs were too thin to screw them to the bottom, so these worked out nicely. The brake is easy to put on and off, and holds the shelves well. The shelves wheel around easily. They seem a good quality.

I really needed these for the cart I have came with the flimsy all plastic, cheap office chair casters. One of the wheels popped off the axel and wouldn¡¯t stay on after reattached . These casters are sturdy with just enough give to slide over hardwoods and carpet without making all the noise or giving all the resistance the old casters did. No more scuffs either. I would buy again. Use better longer screws. The ones that came with the casters are short and not the best.

I used these casters with brakes on a little table in my small kitchen. I use the table for prep work and because I have such a small kitchen, the table was always in the way, needing to move just a little this way or that. These casters are perfect. The legs of the table sit on a metal ledge on the top of the casters, and the 5 screws for each caster are provided as well. We predrilled tiny holes for the screws. The surface that touches the floor is like black rubber so they roll smoothly with no scratching or scraping. While I rarely feel the need to put on the brakes, they are easy to engage with my foot, and to dis-engage when I want the table to roll again. I’m really happy with the casters.
