- The 17mm slides is a two way slides, the inner slides is not removable.
How to install
- Slide the drawer slide to expose the mounting hole.
- The narrower part is screwed to the inner side of the “side wall” with the wood screws.
- The wider part slides into a slot in the side of the drawer and is attached by one of the screws passing through a hole from the inside of the drawer and screwing into the threaded hole in the wider slide part.
- Note: There will be a hole in the drawer to lock the screw, which will not affect the use.

The bearings on an existing one inch two-way drawer slide broke out. These are rare to find anywhere, the traditional home improvement stores do not carry two-way slides. This one is less than an inch and hence I figured that it could fit in the existing groove on the drawer side. Aligned the top edge of the slide to the top of the groove. The installation went off without any major hitch. Though there was one small problem. The drawer side of the slide normally should be attached with a M4 10 mm machine screw. The fasteners which came with the slides only contained tapered screws. Fortunately the machine screw from the original slide had the same thread and fitted this replacement. Would be better if the M4 machine screw was also included in the package, it costs just about a dollar at a home improvement store if you need to buy separately.

Perfect rails to replace the very cheap plastic rails Ikea installs on their kids dresser sets. Only wish they would have an easy way to remove the drawer but that seems to be common for this type of rails. Also you’ll need some M4 machine screws since they are not included. In my case I needed M4x10mm but that depends on the thinkness of your drawer side.

I chanced it, it worked out. Item was maybe 3/4 inch longer in length but it worked. Drawers slid out even more giving me a bigger opening.

I purchased these gliders to replace the ones on my dresser. Somehow when moving, the drawers were ripped out of the dresser and the gliders were damaged or lost. They weren’t the same size as the ones that came with the dresser but worked great as a replacement. When I first started the installation, I was having a hard time trying to get the screws in. I had to ??, what could I do without calling someone for help. Which would have taken weeks…. So I looked in my toolbag and found a miniature screwdriver ??, and a hammer ??. I used these to start the hole for drilling the screws in. Once I got that going, it was easy peezy. Didn’t take no time at all for the rest of installation. Less than an hour. Attached the drawers and they are perfect. They actually open and close better than the original ones. I gave it 4 stars because I had a hard time getting the screws to go in. Other than that… No problems

single pc units that do not separate. gave 4 stars just because of the added trickiness of installing in already assembled cabinet. would have definitely been easier if put in before item assembled. do like the fact of getting the screws with it. still like the slides and would purchase again if needed

Slide works smoothly. The two parts cannot be separated for installation, but that is workable though awkward. The fasteners are poor quality. Overall quality is just adequate, but price is fairly low. ZThese are indeed very low profile and compact, so that may over-ride all complaints. It did for me.

Comes with all the installation hardware. Not an exact replacement but easy enough to install. Now that I have installed one I have ordered two more.

So far so good. First, these are most definitely 2-way slides — that is, if you put it in a center island, the drawer would be able to be pulled out from either side. (Some other MiC stuff seems to be mislabelled based on reviews of other products.) So they work, and the price is right.I am a little confused by the hole configuration — doesn’t seem 100% right unless there are some bespoke drawers that these are meant to fit. I’ll be drilling my own holes to fit my plain wood box (and removing one star).They slide fine: a little lightweight and a little a jerky, but fine. I’ll be applying my own grease.Overall, very good purchase.
