They are great for the amount of money you pay we were going to buy some at Homedepot but they were $17 each ?? so we decided to try these instead!! They are very sturdy. Great quality

These are fantastic brackets. I used them to put a 10 foot, 110 pound countertop as a floating desk in my office. I used them on the studs (16 inches on center using the screws provided) in pairs and I haven’t seen so much as a wiggle out of them since I put my desk down. These are S T U R D Y. Once I got the screws in the studs, I had all the confidence that they weren’t moving.I have seen other complaints about not being able to get a bit in there to screw them in. Just get a long driver for your drill/impact driver and you will have no issues at all. The holes are appropriately spaced and very easy to get to with a longer bit driver. I didn’t need a flexible bit at all.

I¡¯m using these brackets in my basement where I can attach the shelve supports directly on the studs. I tested the drill hole size on a scrap piece of stud. I found that the 7/32 drill bit made the hole that was the best, and easiest, to work with.I am using the supports both ways for a mix of wider and less-wide shelves. When screwing the shorter bracket to the wall, I used a 90 degree offset Phillips head screw driver to get at the centered-holes. If I had had a ratcheting screw driver, it would have been much easier, but without such it just took a bit more work.

Bought these for wood planters on our dock. Installed month or two ahead of planters. Still looked brand new after being out in the sun and rain. Strong and sturdy. No weight issues with heavy wood planters. I bought a second box.

As long as they go in a stud in the wall, we have had great success with using these. They aren¡¯t the easy to get the screws in the middle hole on the bracket. We gave up and just used 2 per bracket. It¡¯s held exceptionally well. This is my second purchase of them.

  6. Homer

Brackets are well made . Screws that came with them are strong. Screwed into the wood poles in my shop and no broken heads or stripping head. That rarely happens these days!

  7. Janice

Worked for our project, very sturdy.

First, a few reviews on this “complain” about the ability to screw in the screws due to the bracket getting in the way. This is user error, not a design flaw. Use the right tools and there is absolutely no issue with the installation:- Use a driver.-Use a very standard 4-5 inch bit holder. This allows the driver to be held almost perpendicular to any hole in this, nothing getting in the way. These are ubiquitous and if you don’t have one, you should get one anyway :-).-These are heavy duty screws. A #3 Philips will fit well, although a #2 will work.On one side the holes are staggered so absolutely you will be perpendicular to the hole when attaching. If anything rips out of drywall, this is user error. If at all possibly just locate a stud!!! Usually 16″ on center, so with these in studs they will hold a LOT of weight. If you are attaching to drywall with nothing behind it, then OF COURSE the weight limits are limited by the drywall and anchor. Don’t blame the bracket if it rips out. One solution to consider if the location is tricky is attach a board first (find the STUDS) then attach the bracket to the board.Overall, I am tempted to buy a pile of these for random future projects as they are so good.

Update: they send you a card asking for a review for 20% off then never respond to your discount request. These are exactly what we needed in our greenhouse shed. They¡¯re amazing quality, especially for the price. My husband is a steel guy and he usually just makes what he needs, but he said he couldn¡¯t build these for the price he paid. He¡¯s very happy and wants to order more.

They are very strong. They say 1700lbs for 2, wich sounds ridiculous. They probably can in concrete with good anchors but in wooden studs that sounds dangerous. I have 3 hangars with 300lbs on the shelf and they’re sturdy.
